Da Plane! Da Plane!

He's back....
(if you are under the age of 30 you won't have a clue what that title is from. If you do know post it in the comments. I am curious if anyone will remember. I'm shocked that I can actually remember that line.)

All of these pictures are taken with my 50 mm lens (no zoom or cropping people!!!!)
Not too many people get to watch this from their yard. Man I love where I live!

For the life of me I can't understand why these guys have such high insurance costs?!?!?!?
Geez! He is soooo close to the irrigation!

Right over our heads!

Wave Sawyer Wave!!! Wait on second thought don't distract the poor guy!

peace out,

Triathletes

post long overdue but we did it! Most of us did it better than others (everyone but me!!!) but we all completed the LP Triathlon! I set it as a goal for myself 6 years ago to do a triathlon. I did do it but not in the way I was hoping to. To say I was disappointed in myself would be an understatement. So disappointed in fact that I am torturing myself with another one next month just to hopefully feel better about myself until next summer.

Here are some random pics from the day...

The babies loved the race!

Me nursing Brooks right before jumping in the water. I have to admit that I LOVE this pic. Despite my chubby thighs (why didn't i think to photoshop myself???)  I like how you can see my number, timer, goggles and Brooksie's little feet.  Thanks Mal!
Cabbana Boy and two of our cheerleaders.

We made special shirts for the race. The boys were very specific on what they wanted them to say. Charlie's says, "Champion Charlie". Sawyer's read, "Go Mom! Beat Dad" and Brooks' said, "Hurry up Mama! I'm Hungry!" Our new header at the top of the blog is a pic of the back of their shirts.

Our family after the race. Side note: Cabanna Boy and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary a few days before the race.

At Oinks that night. That is pretty much how I felt after eating burgers at Redamaks and then icecream.

Baby Shower for Mal and Joel

Last Friday night we celebrated with a bunch of family and friends. Joel and Mal were home for the triathlon so it was the perfect time for a baby shower/cookout.
Here are a few pics from the evening.

Our ever growing Tonagel family.

My little family
I loved this pic but it was super blurry. I tried to salvage it the best i could.

Liz and I eating with some of the kiddos.

Scott's battle wound from Sawyer. Told you he was the "Junk Yard Dog". Don't mess with him. You will get burned!

and the guests of honor of course!

Can't wait to meet your baby boy this fall!

Hillbilly Spa Treatments

Some people pay big bucks for mud facials. We just go out our back door, walk into the cornfield, stand under the irrigation and roll around in between the rows of corn.

I will say it again, No one can ever say that I didn't let my boys be boys!

Irrigation Rainbow Girl

If you haven't seen "Double Rainbow Guy" on YouTube. You have to see this. It is hilarious!!!!! I was crying watching this last night for like the fifth time. (Sorry I couldn't figure out how to embedd both videos on here.) Listen to the words in the video. This guy is beyond crazy/funny!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B6TfGD6CQs0&feature=fvst

Yesterday when the boys were out in the yard playing I had the grand "mom of boys" idea to let them go play in the irrigation out in the cornfield. Don't worry they were supervised!!!!  So while they are playing I looked up and saw this "Irrigation Rainbow". I couldn't resist but doing a spoof on "Double Rainbow Guy". It is a good thing that I don't think I am cool and don't mind being a total goof. Excuse my shrill voice and laughing at my own joke. I couldn't help it. When I showed it to Ben he said, "You have to put this on the blog. It is too funny!" So here ya all go. My debut as "Irrigation Rainbow Girl."

This is for you Joel!!!!!!

Side note: If you haven't seen the above video yet watch that first and then come back to watch my hillbilly version.

Little Big Town - Little White Church

This is my favorite new song out right now. I lOVE it! The boys and I have been jammin' to this for the last few days. They are hilarious to watch/listen to as they sing, "Take me down to the little white church!" in their little boy voices. So funny!

I have always loved "Little Big Town". Their music is awesome and I love their overall style. I wish I looked like these girls. They rock.

Enjoy this fun song!

Why bother?

Why bother with a diaper in the sandbox? Really... you know it is going to end up in every crack and crevice regardless. I figure I might as well save 25 cents.
Plus it is just so fun to be naked!!!! (says Brooks)
To answer your question... Yes. He eventually did fill a diaper the next day with sand. Ouch!

What a cute little mug!

Brooksie learned to wave!

We outta here!
