A little dirt don't hurt

I would love to say that my boys don't normally look like this but that would be a lie. Last Sunday the boys needed some fresh air so I just threw some old clothes on them and told them to have at it out in the mud. They had fun climbing on the snow drifts and stomping in the puddles. Sawyer thought it was cool to just throw his motorcycle out into the huge puddle in the field and watch it sink. It amazes me the simple things that intrigue little boys. My boys are bent on destroying and conquering anything and everything in sight. I think this is their one true purpose in life.

Something about this face...

There's something about this face that makes me light up.
Maybe it's his goofy smile?

His cute little button nose?

His squinty "Sensow" eyes when laughing?

Big "Ben" eyes when grining?

Nope! It's that he is wearing UNDERWEAR!!!! That's right internet friends Sawyer (aka Paul Bunyon) is potty trained!!! He decided he wanted out of diapers. I was scared because I didn't want a repeat of training Charlie (year and a half). Sawyer basically did it all on his own within a few days.
We are so proud of our big boy! And yes he normally wears his undies on his butt. :)

Tonagel Maternity Photo Shoot

Last Saturday I got to practice using my camera and took some pictures of my sister-in-law- Amy of "Team Tonagel".

Amy and Greg are expecting their second Baby Boy in March. Hope you enjoy the photos. I think they turned out pretty cute!

These shots are my favorite from our photo shoot. My belly never looked that good pregnant!!!

Amy enjoys cooking. I was going for a "pregnant and barefoot in the kitchen" look.

Looking forward to meeting Baby Boy #9 for the Tonagel side. (4 sons and now 5 grandsons).

A new way to play with the dump truck

"Hey Mom, Look! Brooks likes being driven around in a dump truck! We only bumped into the doorway a few times. I'm sure it won't affect his ISTEP scores someday."

Jingle Bells

The boys had a great time doing some sledding and sleigh riding over break.
Here they are with their Uncle Troy and Aunt Megan with Papa Hughie pulling them behind his tractor.
Man that looks like fun!

My dad took them for their first sleigh ride! We sang "Jingle Bells" while waiting turns.

This was "my" sleigh when I was younger. (The one that I used with my pony.) It was actually made in LaPorte, In!
Ben and I also took them for a hike through the woods one day and sledding twice at his school. The boys LOVED sledding! I thought Ben went down the hill with them (I was in the car with Brooks.) Oh no, they just went flying down by themselves! It was hilarious to watch.

I think it is safe to say we wore them out. Here is what Sawyer looked like afterward.

Sensow Christmas

We kicked off our Christmas with my family by spending Christmas Eve with the DeWitt clan.
Here's Jon with his "manly" loot he won in the present game. Jon, are you going to make me a friendship bracelet and "bedazzle" something for me? :)

Amy hogging Brooks. :) jkCassidy gets a turn with Brooks. Don't leave Grandma Sensow out!Later that weekend we exchanged presents. Here is the robe my sister- "Whoopsie Daisies" made for my boys. So cute!
I believe my boys think my dad is Santa. They think he just makes/fixes things for him all day. Here is what he spoiled them with this year. Talk about cool!!!
Yes, it really is that big! The boys love their new barn. They are having a blast driving their tractors into it.
When Charlie saw it he said, "Papa, now you can make me a farmhouse to match." Oh my...
My dad modeled the barn after ours. It was built in 1889. Isn't this gorgeous!

My dad took the boys for their first sleigh rides. Here they are waving at their cousin. More of these pictures to come later.
Back to Grandma Sensow enjoying some more snuggle time with the most spoiled baby ever! My siblings and I got our parents a new computer for Christmas. I am excited they will be able to look at our famous blog now! :)

Christmas with the Tonagels

We had a great time at Ben's parents house. We were able to spend time with Mal/Joel and Meg/Troy otherwise known as "East Coast Tonagels".
Here are some of the highlights of our day.

The boys making Christmas cookies

Mal getting "Baileys" chocolates!! You are going to share those right????
Dr. Tonagel trying out his new stethoscope on Jace.
Mal, Megan, Troy and Joel loving on our three boys

Our family picture

Mal, Megan and I.
The "TV heads". Charlie, Sawyer and Jace are spoiled at the grandparents and get to watch as many cartoons as they want. I think it is official that I have the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" theme song memorized.
